The Seven Islands Maritime Training Institute and Seaspan have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen the placement prospects for the institute’s cadets. This aims to provide enhanced opportunities for the cadets by potentially offering them better placements within the maritime industry through Seaspan’s resources, and expertise. The collaboration seeks to create a more robust and promising pathway for the professional development and career advancement of the cadets associated with the institute.

Diploma in Nautical Sciences
- Academic standard
– 12th standard PCM : Min 60% & above in first attempt
– IMU CET rank - Age : Maximum 24 yrs

Once qualified in the test there will be a personal interview

Once qualified in the interview there will be a medical test as per STCW 2010/MS Medical rules 2000 and all its amendments.
