Courses

DNS is 12 months Pre-Sea Training Course i.e. Diploma in Nautical Science leading to a Degree in B.Sc. (Applied Nautical Science). After 18 months Structured Shipboard Training on Board our Vessels & 4 months various Advance Courses, the candidates will appear for 2nd Mate Examination. On passing the 2nd Mate Examination & obtaining the Certificate of Competency (CoC) awarded by the DG Shipping, Govt. of India, candidates will be eligible to employ as 3rd Officer Globally. After prescribed Sea-Time completion at every Rank, the candidates will be appearing for Higher Rank Examination such as Mate and Chief Mate. Further, they are awarded a Degree on clearing the DLP task & passing all subjects.

General Purpose (GP) Rating is a 6 months Pre-Sea Training course followed with 6 months Structured Shipboard Training for those who have completed their 2 years ITI or 3 years Diploma. GP Rating candidates are trained in tasks of both Deck and Engine Room. Such Ratings may be employed either in Deck or Engine Departments according to the needs of the Company. They perform tasks related to Seamanship. On completing 6months onboard Training & obtaining Certificate of Watchkeeping (COW) the candidates are promoted as Ordinary Seaman (OS) Or Wiper . And on completion of 18 months Seatime and obtaining the Certificate of Proficiency ( COP ) the candidate is promoted to rank of Ableseaman / Oiler .

GME is a 8 months Pre-Sea Training course i.e. Graduate Marine Engineer followed with 10 months Structured Shipboard Training on board our vessels, sailing 4 months as Trainee Marine Engineer & 6 months as Junior Engineer. Thereafter, candidates do 4 months various Advanced Courses and appear for MEO Class-IV Examination. On passing the MEO Class-IV Examination & obtaining the Certificate of Competency (CoC) awarded by the Directorate General of Shipping, Govt. of India, candidates will be eligible to employ as 4th Engineer Globally. After prescribed Sea-Time completion at every Rank, the candidates will be appearing for Higher Rank Examination such as 2nd Engineer & Chief Engineer.

ETO is a 4 months Pre-Sea Training course i.e. Electro Technical Officer followed with 8 months Structured Shipboard Training on-board our vessels, sailing as Trainee Electro Technical Officer/Asst. ETO. Thereafter, candidates do 4 months various Advanced Courses and appear for ETO Examination. On passing  the ETO Examination & obtaining the Certificate of Competency (CoC) awarded by the Directorate General of Shipping, Govt. of India, candidates will be eligible to employ as Full Fledged Electro Technical Officer Globally.
